Petit Champlain

Petit Champlain is the oldest district of Québec city. Nearby, access the Musée de la civilisation where you can discover temporary exhibitions such as “Masters of Olympus”, and also permanent exhibitions such as “People of Québec...then and Now” and “This Is Our Story: First Nations and Inuit in the 21st Century”. Port of Quebec

The Port of Quebec is filled with many unknown little gems. Discover the events organised at the Espace 400e, such as the BBQ Fest or the Beerfest of Québec. The free admission allows you to walk around and see if something attracts you! The Marché du Vieux-Port is the perfect place to find fresh fruits and vegetables, good beers of tasteful sausages. You can also enjoy a drink on-site. By the nightfall, enjoy the projections on the grain silos: the only place you can see aurora borealis in summer!

 

Cartier Avenue

The Cartier Avenue is the unknown gem of Quebec City. Located in the heart of the Art District, it will make you live exceptional moments thanks to its warm ambiance, its independent stores and its various restaurants. In summer, the avenue is very lively thanks to the terraces and the street artists who perform at the Richard-Garneau Place, the Cartier avenue and René-Lévesque boulevard corner, and in front of the Parchemin du Roy store.

Take time to admire the work of painter artists Rita Letendre and Jacques Hurtubise exposed on the 34 giant lampshades over the street. The lampshades illuminate at night so you can enjoy the magnificent show and ambiance. You won’t find anything like this in the city, we promise you. 

 

Sports in the city

Quebec City is a sports city heated by young talented teams who give amazing performances to all the spectators. Whether you are a hockey, baseball or football fan, you will have the opportunity to see breathtaking high level games thanks to the local teams.

Quebec’s Remparts, the hockey team of the city, will play from September to March at the Videotron Center

The Capitales of Quebec are playing baseball every summer at the Stade Municipal near the Laurentienne highway. Nothing compares to the baseball’s atmosphere on a great summer night!

The Quebec’s Rouge et Or football team also offers high quality games at the Université Laval’s stadium until the end of November, if they can reach the final. If we look at the lasts years, the Rouge et Or team have the best chances to reach it!
